Storeperson & Delivery Driver (MR / LF)

Location: Banyo, QLD

Work Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday

Role Balance: ~70% Warehousing & Inventory | ~30% Local Delivery Driving

About the Role

We keep people moving. We are looking for an energetic, dependable Storeperson & Delivery Driver to join our branch in Banyo.

In this dual-focus role, approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to core warehousing operations—handling stock, picking orders, and dispatch. The remaining 30% will see you on the road completing local deliveries in our Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle, representing directly with our trade partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehousing (~70%):

  • Receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching automotive products (including batteries and related accessories).

  • Safe operation of material handling equipment and forklifts (LF).

  • Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in line with safety and dangerous goods protocols.

• Driving & Delivery (~30%):

  • Safely operating an MR truck to complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries across the local area.

  • Loading, securing, and unloading goods safely and efficiently.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and service providers.

  • Completing pre-trip vehicle inspections and keeping basic transport logs.

What We Are Looking For

• Licences:

  • MR (Medium Rigid) Driver’s Licence – Highly Desirable (Candidates willing and eligible to obtain their licence may also be considered).

  • High-Risk Work Licence (LF Forklift) – Desirable.

• Experience: Prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, automotive parts, or transport environment.

• Safety First: A strong safety mindset, especially regarding manual handling and vehicle operation.

• Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable with routine manual lifting (e.g., handling automotive batteries).

• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently on the road and collaboratively in the warehouse.
